[Thursday, | February 26th, 2009 at 2:29pm] On tonight's agenda, I will be going to a panel discussion on new media, democracy, and technology being held at the Boston Athenaeum. Kill me now, please? I really don't know how I manage to rope myself into this shit. First it was the Harvard Law Review Luncheon which .. offered little amusement. And now it's this panel discussion on the relevance of MySpace and how todays society copes with democracy. Open a damn book or a newspaper, people! Quit getting all of your political and societal knowledge from people on Facebook who think they know what they're talking about. 32 comment
